Project Description

CK May Excavating successfully completed the extensive street and stormwater improvements project at Griffin and Manley Road. The scope of work encompassed the construction of a new three-lane roadway on Griffin Drive from Maus Lane to Rouse Avenue, complete with curb and gutter installations. Additionally, CK May Excavating facilitated the integration of separated multi-use pathways on both sides of the road, enhancing pedestrian and cyclist safety and accessibility. A significant aspect of the project included the installation of a traffic signal at Manley Road, alongside lighting and utility improvements, ensuring enhanced traffic management and infrastructure functionality. Furthermore, CK May Excavating managed the construction of approximately 200 feet of Manley Road, extending from Griffin Drive to the south end of the previously reconstructed segment completed in 2020. Given the project's complexity, close coordination with Montana Rail Link and their contractors was crucial due to the project crossing railroad right of way. Throughout the project, CK May Excavating prioritized maintaining access to all businesses to minimize disruptions and ensure continued operations within the community.
